Man may dismiss compassion from his heart, but God will never. - Cowper.

When Lenity and cruelty play for a kingdom, the gentler gamester is the soonest winner. - Shakespeare.

Never to indulge rashly; never to interpret the actions of others in an ill-sense, but to compassionate their infirmities, bear their burdens, excuse their weakness, and make up for their defects - to hate their imperfections, but love themselves, this is the true spirit of charity. - Caussin.

Lenity will operate in greater force in some instances than rigour. - It is therefore, my first wish to have all my conduct distinguished by it. - Washington.

It is necessary to grow old to become more indulgent. I see no fault committed that I have not committed myself. - Goethe.

Lenity is a part of mercy, but she must not speak too loud for fear of waking justice. - Joubert.

Lenity is the one of the core values Heartitude embraced since its founding. I find that typical financial consultation process can be very cerebral and clinical. We seek gentler and kinder ways to better understand why clients/friends think what they think and feel what they feel; Their "Why".....

Only then, the whole information can be processed by us, where we can plan for suitability and sustainability (planning strategy) for the unique client, not just a product, as there are so many! Hence, the consultants may have to decide on clients' behalf to recommend the best strategy to suit the their specific needs.

This process requires experience, patience and lenity. The real question is what kind of planners/consultants/advisors do you want to work with?
